One quick tip from setting up my GPG/Y...Thumbs up. One quick tip from setting up my GPG/Yubi setup on 6 different machines. You don't need to carry the stub-files/hints (actually the public keys) around from machine to machine. They're not retrievable from the smartcard due to space. But, on a fresh box, you *can* do:<br /><br />gpg2 --card-status (To see that you have the card recognized)<br />gpg2 --card-edit<br /> and then say "fetch" inside the card editor. <br /><br />This will retrieve the corresponding public keys from the PGP Keyserver network.<br /><br />Between the GPG-based SSH and then using my Yubikey for GPG for the passwordstore.org password manager... it's just amazing how much I rely on that little black piece of plastic.Thomas Shorockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14812380934424184269noreply@blogger.com
